I am a native Virginian who arrived in Florida in 1997 from Seattle, Washington. I have been an adjunct faculty member at SPC since 1999 and became full-time in August, 2005. Previously, I have taught Anatomy and Physiology at Lake Washington Technical College in Kirkland, Washington and Biology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Virgina where I received my M.S. in Biology. I received my B.S. in Biology from Randolph Macon College in Virginia. I currently teach Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II lecture, A&P I and II labs at the St. Pete campus. I have also designed an online Human Biology class which targets future high school science teachers. In Fall of 2017, I redesigned the BSC1084C Essentials of A&P class, a 1 semester class targeted for EMT, Forensic science or Gen Ed science requirement.  As a C class, learning through lab is the main focus.
