Tonya Williams, the oldest of three, is a native New Yorker.  After 22 years of active military service, she is a retired Air Force veteran with three children and two grandchildren.

Dr. Williams earned her BSOE in Human Services and Masters in Education (M. Ed.) from Wayland Baptist University, and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed. D.) from Argosy University.  Her professional background includes over 25 years legal experience in working and managing positions as civil law legal assistant, paralegal, and trial clerk supervisor.  Her educational career began as a middle school teacher serving a population of special needs students.  She has facilitated and taught classes in paralegal studies, supervisory skills, math, and English.

Personal interests include traveling, running, reading, and learning.
