Kristen graduated with both her AS and BAS in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College.  She has been teaching since 2011. She has been at Animal and Bird Hospital of Clearwater since 1993. In addition to her technician and managerial duties there she also teaches puppy and obedience classes there.  From 2007 -2020 she worked as a Veterinary Behavior Technician for Animal Behavior Network. She is also a mentor trainer for the Animal Behavior College. 

In addition to 2 human children, she 2 German Shepherd Dogs, a French Bulldog, a Chihuahua 4 birds, a leopard gecko and a cat. 

 Kristen is a member of FVTA (Florida Veterinary Technician Association), NAVTA (National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America) and SVBT (Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians).
