Having received both a BA in Religious Studies and in Sociology from Elon University, Elizabeth Wharton furthered her investigation of the impact religion has within the world by earning a Master of Arts degree in Culture and Spirituality from Holy Names University in Oakland, CA. She has taught World Religions for American Public  University and continues to teach first-year student skills online.  She joins SPC as an adjunct faculty member while devoting much of her time to continued personal and professional development via offering workshops throughout the Tampa Bay area and practicing various spiritual traditions in her day to day activities.
