I have been in the dental hygiene profession for over 40 years. I assumed the Program Director position for the Dental Hygiene Program at St Petersburg College in August of 2010. Previous to this appointment,  I had been an Assistant Professor in Dental Hygiene at Mount Ida College in Massachusetts.  I manage the Associate of Science Dental Hygiene program on a daily basis and  I actively work with both freshmen and sophomore students as they progress through our program. I direct  the second largest dental hygiene program in the state of Florida and I teach as an Associate Professor in the program. I coordinate the State of FLorida's Dental Hygiene Clinical Board Exam that our Dental Hygiene Program hosts for the CDCA multiple times a year for our graduating students and other candidates for state licensure.

I also direct and teach the 60 hour continuing education course, Local Anesthesia for Dental Hygienist, that is offered multiple sessions throughout the year for practicing dental hygienists that want to update their skill set and become a dental practice builder..
