I am a RVT and technician supervisor at a small-animal practice in Northeastern Ohio and adjunct instructor at SPC since early 2018. After passing the VTNE in 2009, I immersed myself in CE but was drawn to more formal education. I completed SPC’s BAS program in veterinary technology in 2015.  While I still love the scientific side of veterinary medicine, the BAS program instilled a great interest in the effects of positive leadership. Therefore, I completed a graduate degree in Management & Leadership in February, 2018.

All my degrees have been attained online, and I have a genuine passion for online learning and the opportunities it affords so many students. I consider myself a lifetime learner, whether learning from coworkers, students, or a journal. I am HAB certified and a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional and genuinely care for clients, employees, and students! Though NE Ohio doesn’t provide much great weather, my interests include a lot of outdoor activities- kayaking, hiking, and bicycling. I also love to travel, despite an intense fear of airplanes.
