Dr. Vickie Hall Stevens received her Ph.D. in Higher Education Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Administration at University of South Florida. Her research on global-mindedness resulted in her dissertation, Student Perceptions on Issues Related to Globalization at a Four-Year Community College in Florida. A first generation college student, she received her B.S. and M.A. degrees from Southern Illinois University.
Her teaching career spans middle school, high school, community college, adult education and university levels.

She is currently an International Advisory Council Member of International Higher Education Curriculum Designer Society New Zealand, a referree for New Zealand graduate program proposals to NZ Ministry of Education and an editorial board member of International Education Studies Journal, Canadian Centre of Science and Education, Toronto, Canada.
A world traveler, Dr. Stevens has travelled extensively in countries of 6 continents. She lead SPC's first Study Abroad immersion program to New Zealand in May 2018 and will continue to do so in the future.
