Experience:

My nursing experience has been in medical/surgical, trauma, hospice, sexual assault nurse examiner, nursing administration and nursing education beginning in 1990. I also work as a certified legal nurse consultant and online nursing faculty.

Teaching Philosophy:

As a nurse educator, I have the ability to demonstrate my passion for nursing in the classroom and clinical setting by providing education that supports evidence based practice. I believe all learners are diverse and have many different types of learning styles. Each individual has a learning style based on his or her life influences. As an educator, I need to utilize a diverse approach for teaching and learning in the classroom and clinical setting. My professional goal is to provide a supportive learning environment utilizing diverse educational strategies in throughout all teaching modalities to help students achieve success.
