Annamarie D. Sisson, Ph.D., CAHTA, CHE, CHIA, DES, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Recreation, Hospitality and Sport Management at Southern Connecticut State University. Their industry experience spans over two decades where they were positioned with Intercontinental Hotels Group. They have been a hospitality instructor at both St. Petersburg College and University of Florida. Their expertise is in lodging guest services, operations, and event management. Their research interests are hospitality leadership, curriculum and pedagogy, and event venue sustainability. Annamarie holds certifications from Professional Convention Management Association and Smith Travel Research.
