Hello and Welcome. My name is R. Edward Rode'
I am currently working at SPC as adjunct instructor faculty member in the Engineering and Building Arts Department. At this time I am only teaching online courses with SPC. I have a Bachalor of Architecture degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Masters of Architecture from Virginia Tech. I am a practicing Architect but my focus for many years has been in the field of Educational. I have taught in elementry school, high schools, Technical colleges and several colleges and University. I have been teaching at Southeastern for 27 yrs now. I first started teaching in the Industrial Technology Department, Drafting both Mechanical and Architectural Drafting. I develope an associate dregree program in Construction Technology for the IT Dept. When the Southeastern move to offering a department in Engineering Technology and it murged with IT to become the Industral / Engineering Technology Department. One of the degree programs in the IET Department was Construction Technology. I was tasked to develope the curriculum for this area and have moved more to teaching about 1/2 of the courses in the Construction Technology Curriculum.
