MSN-Ed from University of Phoenix, 2012
Ed.D from University of St. Augustine, anticipated graduation 2020

Nursing Background:
I began my nursing career as a nurse at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, FL. I worked in a neuroprogessive/trauma unit and valued every minute of it. After Bayfront, I traveled as a nurse as well as worked at other local hospitals including Brandon Regional Hospital, St. Joseph's Children's Hospital and St. Joseph's Women's Hospital. I have cared for patients of all ages and all levels of acuity. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher so I pursued my MSN and have been teaching in a variety of formats and levels including ADN, BSN, and MSN. I am currently pursuing my Ed.D. from the University of St. Augustine. I am preparing to write my dissertation, so I can completely relate to your student stressors.

Personal Interests:
When I am not teaching or working on my own homework, I enjoy reading and running. I ran my 4th half marathon last year and can't wait to run another (maybe). I also love spending time with my family as we love to go to the beach and play in the pool.
