Crystal L. Pruitt is a Florida native. She is currently owner of Pruitt Marketing and Promotions and has more than 15 years of government communications experience. She has expertise in marketing, media relations, civic engagement, public records and emergency response communications. 

She is a graduate of Eckerd College and earned her MBA degree from Nova Southeastern University. Crystal also spends a lot of her time giving back to her community through service projects and teaching new business owners how to effectively market their business. She is very passionate about Economic Development projects in the community and supports leadership development programs for youth.

She is an active member with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Onyx Ski and Sports Club of Tampabay, and Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated.

In her spare time, Crystal enjoys golfing, skiing and shopping. She is married to Samuel T. Pruitt, an educator and coach at St. Petersburg High School.
