I have been very fortunate to have had an international upbringing , having been educated at schools and universities in different countries, having learned languages and to respect different cultures. I love the arts (visual, theater,films, opera, classical music,jazz, literature and ethnic and historic costume, dance and music) and teach,write, broadcast, and create as visual artist (mixed media painting and sculpture). I have traveled to many countries, invited to study the culture of Bangladesh, and most recently,China. I travel to Europe regularly.

I bring all this knowledge and experience to the classroom to share it with all students. The result is enthusiasm and dedication to learning with each new class. Thank you to all those who have given of themselves and whose research and experience have added new insights to the courses.
