Teaching Philosophy:
I am both a mathematician and a student-centered educator. As a mathematician,  I love the logic, quantitative reasoning, and critical analysis of mathematics and I am an expert in the field. As a student-centered educator, it is my responsibility to provide learning opportunities for you to obtain both content knowledge and conceptual understanding.  My classroom experience is all about YOU!

I have been teaching mathematics professionally for over 20 years. I enjoy the problem solving experience of figuring out what you need to increase your understanding and providing the appropriate environment for you to grow and prosper. ALL students can succeed in mathematics.

Personal Interests:
I have extensive experience in both domestic and international travel, for professional, personal, and ministry interests. Having lived in Ohio for 18 years, I am grateful to now spend every morning jogging on the beach and most evenings cycling on the Pinellas Trail.  If asked, I am happy to share my experiences with you.  Yet, the most significant journey for you is the one we will share as we embark on your road to academic achievement and success.
