Sponsor of Ethics in Action Organization on SP/G campus for over 20 years.  This is a college organization which provides help to those in need.
Members have conducted food and clothing drives for CASA, the homeless, and military veterans.
The group has also conducted animal drives which benefitted the Humane Society, Pinellas County Animal Services, and the SPC Veterinary Technology Program.
Ethics in Action on the St. Petersburg/Gibbs campus initiated the first full service pantry on any campus, the Students Helping Students Food Pantry, which provides free food, toiletries, and household items to SPC students in need.
For several years the organization has presented the Diversity Through the Arts Program, during fall and spring semesters.  These events promote multiculturalism on the campus, and are very well attended by 100-200 students at each event.

Personal

For over 25 years, I worked with veterinarians and a federally registered rehabilitator to rehabilitate and release federal and state protected songbirds, as well as other wildlife animals.
My philosophy is quite simple:  Find a cause bigger than your own self-interest, and have the compassion to help others, human and non-human alike.  We are all connected;  we are all one.  To render aid to any being in distress is the highest form of love and respect we can offer during our lives.
