I grew up in Clearwater, Florida. I attended college at the University of Florida, home of the Fighting Gators, where I earned a B.S. degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a concentration in dietetics ('02) and an M.S. degree-dietetic internship ('04).  I have been practicing as a Registered Dietian for over 10 years and have worked in a variety of areas including pediatrics, community nutrition, diabetes, elderly nutrition, and nutrition consulting.  I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 15 years.  Online teaching allows me to stay home with my two beautiful daughters, Grace (9) and Lilly (6).  In my free time I enjoy music, reading, gardening, being outdoors, and most importatntly, spending time with my family.
