I served 33 years in the U.S Army retiring as a major general.  After retirement, I was Vice President of the Tampa Bay Bucs for three years and then ran the largest American company in Turkey for five years. I was a candidate for Mayor of St. Petersburg in 1998, losing the general election by 3000 votes. Since then, I have been a professor at St. Petersburg College.  I have a B.S. in engineering from West Point, an MA in Political Science from USF and two masters equivalent from the Army Command and General Staff College and the Army War College. I also have a certificate in National and International Security from Harvard University.
