My educational background includes a BA in Information Systems from Eckerd College, an MS in Information Technology, and a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University   My background is in the corporate world teaching and supporting networks as well as managing training and support centers. Before coming to St. Petersburg College I spent eight years as the Director of Training for a local computer reseller. 

While there I developed a multimillion dollar training department with classrooms in Tallahassee, Orlando, Clearwater, and Miami. We offered classes ranging from simple applications to network operating systems for the K-12 market as well as for Corporate America. I have been teaching Microsoft classes as an MCT and an MCSE since 1997.   Recently, I obtained my Cisco Certitifed Network Administrator (CCNA) designation and have been teaching the CCNA track for over one year.  More recently, I graduated from Capella University with a Ph.D. in Organization and Management.  In the early 1990's I was teaching and supporting Novell Netware as a Certified Netware Instructor (CNI) and also held the Master CNE designation. Outside of the classroom, my husband and I used to be avid sailors with hopes of someday retiring and sailing the blue waters of the Florida Keys and the Bahamas. We recently changed plans and look forward to traveling around the country in an RV.
