I was born and educated in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania. I have a Bachelors Degree from Philadelphia College of Art and a Masters Degree from Tyler School of Art , Temple University. I have also taken extensive drawing workshops, including The New York Studio School Drawing Marathon.


 My work has gone through several metamorphoses.  Content has changed from the representation of the figure to more emphasis on the landscape and interiors.  I currently am concentrating on relief printmaking.  My imagery is highly influenced by ancient Japanese block prints.   For me, art is a journey often traveled with a supportive cast, but more frequently traveled alone.  As the painter William Bailey said " I never know where I am going with a painting, I only know where I've been."  Thus the journey is always new and will be forever changing.
