I have been a full-time faculty member at St. Petersburg College since August 2001. I hold a Master of Science in Education from CUNY - Queens College and second Master's degree with a concentration in Networking and Telecommunications from Fort Hays State University.

I've been active in the IT industry as a web developer and network engineer, most recently working as a Turn-up Engineer at Network Dynamics of Oldsmar. I've also worked as a Support Technician/Installer, Network Engineer, and Manager of Customer Engineering. I currently hold the following current industry certifications: CCNP, CCNA, Linux+, A+, and AWS Could Practitioner certifications. I'm also the lead contact at SPC for the Cisco Networking Academy.

I teach the CCNA-level and advanced-level networking courses at the college, including those that focus on network security.
