Mrs. Tamara Dizdarevic
I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science - Biochemistry from the University of Central Florida, and I received my Master of Science in Biology (Cellular, Microbiology and Molecular Biology) from the University of South Florida.
My general teaching philosophy stems from the principle that made me want to become a forensic scientist, the Locard Principle. The Locard Principle basically states: “Every contact leaves a trace.” This standard became the foundation for forensic science. However, I believe that this principle is not only relevant to forensics but to life and learning as well. During every encounter we have in life, we inevitably leave a trace of ourselves physically, mentally and/or emotionally, and we take a part of those we meet with us. It is my sincere hope that every interaction I have with my students leaves an indelible mark on them as they venture into their future endeavors, and that they, in turn, leave a mark on me.
