Yohandy Carrazana was born on April 9th, 1974 in Santa Clara, Cuba.  During his childhood he grew up among excellent people leaded by the example of his parents and grandparents. Sports have been part of his life since his childhood. Tennis and swimming were the first two sports he practiced when he was only five years old. Latter on he decided to get into a professional sports school where he spent four years practicing Water Polo. His team won four county division tournaments, and two bronzes and one silver medal in the national league from 1985 to 1989. In 1989, he decided to pursue a career in electronics getting enrolled in an Exact Sciences School. It was there where he started his professional formation as an engineer. Also, he met his best friends who he still keep contact with.

In 1992, he was accepted in the “Central University” to pursue a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering. However, he realized a year later that his passion was Electronics and Telecommunications. So, he switched to this engineering area in 1993. Broad and solid education was received during those years. It should be pointed out the two electronics championships (1996 and 1997) he won and his leadership as the University’s Water Polo team captain while studying at this institution. He graduated in 1998 and selected among the ten best students.

In 2001, He immigrated to Spain, Mexico and finally to the United States of America in 2002. His family who came to the US in 1999 settled down in Syracuse, NY. He followed them. It was very hard at the beginning. Language and weather were the two major obstacles he had to overcome. However, he wanted to graduate from a prestigious university. He got accepted in the School of Engineering at Syracuse University.

Aspiration, courage, dedication and planning were always present during that period (2002-2005). His parents also played a very important role helping him all the time. He graduated on May, 2005 with excellent results which helped him to win a scholarship awarded by School of Engineering. He stayed living in Syracuse until May 2007.

He has been living the beautiful Tampa Bay area since 2007.
