I am a US Army Retired Commander. I searved over 21 years in various assignments. As a disabled Verteran, I have over 47 years of government service and currently employed at the Veteran Health Administration. I started in the VA Carrier in Pittsburgh, PA  joining the in February 1994 as a Health Systems Specialist. His career included implementation manager working in OIT, as an integral part of an implementation team for the VHA’s Computerized Patient Record System. After being promoted to a virtual position in 2008, Bob then began working with Web HR and after a reorganization from for former HPDM to HLTI. After the reorganization to HTM he was the VHA Coaching and Mentoring, LEAD, Supervisor Training Program Manager for about 8 years. Now Bob is part of the LST2 team for CARES.

Holding a Doctorate in in Information Systems and Communications. Actively teaching healthcare informatics and several computer sciences programs at St Petersburg FL, Penn Western University, PA, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and actively involved in the local community. 

His career included travel to Europe several times and finally settled in Easton, MD.

Other interest he is an instrument rated pilot, loves animals (rescues cats and dogs at risk of being euthanized or abused), flying, playing golf and enjoy my family time. I am married and have a very supportive wife, Janet and two wonderful children, Melinda and Andrew.
