ABOUT ME

As a media professional, entrepreneur and educator, I'm on a mission to share stories, connect readers and support the next generation of communicators. While working as a newspaper editor earlier in my career, my managing editor asked that I take on a few interns. I realized right then and there that I loved communications and journalism, but I loved teaching it even more. That's when I knew I needed to pursue teaching. I worked for eight years at a liberal arts college in Upstate New York prior to joining the faculty at SPC. As a Florida native, I'm so excited to be back in the Sunshine State and working with you all here at SPC.
