I have worked over 25 years as a Registered Nurse.  Most of my experience has been in Critical Care as well as Cardiac Cath, Open Heart, 

Pre and Post-op at Morton Plant Hospital, BayCare Health System.  I received my Associates Degree in Nursing from SPC formally called St. 

Petersburg Jr. College.  In 1996 I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SPC and continued my education with a Master of 

Science in Leadership and Management from Walden University 2016.  

     My nursing philosphy:

     I am passsionate about being a nurse and want to pass that along to all furture nurses.  My teaching goal is for students to feel excitement

and accomoplishment.  Create a positive learning experience that motivates the student to practice professional nursing with

skill, confidence and compassion.

Office Hours
• Every third Thursday 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm.  Although I have a quick turn around time, it is important for you to review the requirement of the assignments in advance. Your major assignments are typically due by Sunday. I have a 48hr turn around time during the weekend and you will most likely receive a response by Monday morning.
As your instructor, I will:
• Log into this course throughout the semester, every work day from the first day of the course through the last day of the course.
• Provide you with updates via Course Mail or Announcements as needed
• Respond to all course mail and voice mail messages within 24 hours Monday through Friday and within 48 hours during the weekend.
o Note! Although I will try to check the course on the weekend, this is not a guarantee.
• Notify you in advance if I will be out of contact for more than two days.
• Have your assignments and exams graded within 7 business days of the due date.
• Calculate and enter your grade for this course before the submission deadline so you can view your final grade the next day.
