Educational background: A.S. degree in HIM from St. Johns River State College, B.S in Management from Florida State College at Jacksonville. M.S in HIM & online education from the College of St. Scholastica in Minnesota.

Experience: 10 years retail operational management with Best Buy, 20 years HIM and operational management with Nemours Childrens Health System. Now I have moved on to a new role in Privacy Compliance at UF Health.

Personal: I am married and have two wonderful boys. They are both grown. I am a very proud grandma of a beautiful girl.  I also have a fur baby Daisy who is part  Rhodesian Ridgeback. I love the work I do and I love helping students. My passion is getting new HIM'ers excited about the career path they have choosen and getting them involved in the HIM association.
