Welcome! I am an organized energetic person with diverse experiences and interests.  I enjoy teaching face-to-face, blended and online classes.   Creating new tools to help students become more successful in their studies is a passion, as well as developing and improving curriculum.  Teaching interests include international business, general business, management, business law and risk management.

I am also a lawyer and licensed customs broker with over 25 years of experience working in international trade and compliance.  Experience includes employment with a customs broker, U.S. Customs & Border Protection, Komatsu America and Northrop Grumman Ship Systems.   I have created, organized and managed import compliance departments, directed cross-functional international compliance teams, developed training programs and served as a trade compliance consultant to a variety of international corporations.

After spending most of my life in Tennessee, I have been a resident of Florida for 12 years, where I enjoy walking, dogs, disaster relief work, volunteer activities, amateur radio and the beach.
