Hi, everyone! I am an online English instructor for St. Petersburg College and also teach full-time at a local college in Hillsborough County. I graduated from Western Kentucky University (Bowling Green, KY) in 1973 with a B.A. in Art and obtained an M.A. in English in 1985, also from WKU. Originally a farmboy from Kentucky, I now reside in Clearwater, Florida, and have a total of 25 years or so of experience in education, having taught at the junior high level, high school level, junior college level, and university level. Students and even some colleagues refer to me as "Mr. B," which is fine with me, so feel free to use this when you contact me. When I have some leisure time, I enjoy reading, yardwork (Must be the farmboy in me!), an occasional round of golf, and can often be found at the beach. On vacations I travel to places like New York City to enjoy all that a metropolitan destination has to offer, especially the bookstores and the food. Well, that's me.
