I hold a bachelors degree from the University of South Florida, a masters degree from Oregon State University, and am a doctoral student in adult education, leadership, and organizational development at the University of Georgia. My research interests include restorative justice, women's development, organization development, leadership, and critical human resource development.

Along with teaching as an adjunct instructor of ethics, I work as an employee relations advisor for St. Petersburg College. In this role, I work daily identifying and resolving workplace ethics issues. I’m not only practiced in dealing with ethical issues that arise from employee complaints and disciplinary issues, I sincerely love my role as both scholar and practitioner. Employee relations work directly affects the engagement of an organization’s work force and organizational success, and I find nothing more rewarding than helping people and organizations succeed.

My goal as an instructor is to create a learning community where everyone can safely explore a variety of personal, social, and professional ethical issues.
