My health care career started in 1976 as a Nursing Assistant. I graduated Bergen Pines County School of Practical Nursing in Paramus, New Jersey 1981. I received my AAS in Nursing from Bergen County Community College in Paramus, NJ 1987. I completed a Joint BSN program with Ramapo College of New Jersey and University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in 1998. My Master of Science in Nursing Education degree was completed in 2009 with graduation in May 2010.
My most recent full time clinical practice has been in Oncology, spanning the past 15 years. The past 40 years of practice has involved med/surg, post partum, ICU, CCU, Hospice, Community Health, Home Infusion Nursing, and adjunct nursing school faculty.
