Dr. Urban earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Purdue University.

Dr. Urban served as:
           Vice-President, Finance at Bunker-Ramo Corporation, Oak Brook, IL (Fortune 500 Company)
           President, Brown-Miller Division of Beatrice Foods Company, New Orleans, LA (Fortune 50 Company)

Dr. Urban served as special advisor to US Department of State and US Department of Defense on situations in the Former Soviet Union; Central Asia; the Middle East; and North Africa.

Dr. Urban has taught various economic courses in the Ph.D. program at the University of South Florida
