I started my nursing career in a 3-year hospital based diploma program upstate New York and graduated in 1976 with a Diploma in Nursing and as Associates Degree in Science. In 1992 I obtained a BSN from the University of Tampa and in 2006 a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.

My nursing background has included clinical and administrative practice in both acute care and ambulatory care settings to include medical/surgical nursing, urology, nephrology, dialysis, pediatrics, and currently correctional healthcare.
