I have cared for patients in Medical Surgical Critical Care, Surgery, Interventional Radiology, and Post Anesthesia Care.
My teaching philosopy is to help students succeed in their endeavors to develop critical thinking skills and to help them provide excellent patient care. I have invited students to the American Neurology Nurses Association meetings, Florida Nurses Association, Legislative meetings, Hospice of the Florida Suncoast meetings, and to do B/P's at the Making Strides for  Breast Cancer yearly Walk. I have taken my Clinical groups to the interactive Lunch & Learn presentations at HEC. I am an advocate for and a participant in SPC's excellent student Simulation activities. I also enjoy teaching and volunteering as a Faith Community Nurse in my community.  My interests are traveling, art, and sailing.
