Mr. Mark Eggers
I began my EMS career in 1997 when I earned my EMT-B certificate. Before 1997, I worked in many fields such as dishwasher, motorcycle mechanic, roofer, medical laboratory technician, and phlebotomist. While in school for my EMT-P, I worked in the emergency room at the local trauma center. Shortly after graduating from the SPC EMS program, I began working as a paramedic for the ambulance transport service in Pinellas County. Less than a year later, I started my career as a firefighter. I am currently working as a Lieutenant Paramedic for the City of Seminole on C shift. I am also currently a student at Barry University in the MPA program. In the past, I worked twelve years as a Medical Communications Officer (MCO) before the recent changes to the current medical director’s office. After the cancellation of the MCO program, I started teaching CME for Pinellas County. As of January 2014, I am teaching for the EMS program at the HEC campus.
