Dr. Connell has twenty (20) years of experience in higher education, content development, healthcare operations, revenue cycle, physician education, clinical documentation integrity, clinical research, and regulatory compliance. He holds a doctorate in health science specializing in telehealth, a master's of law in health law and compliance, a graduate certificate in clinical anatomy and neuroscience, and a bachelor's in health studies (pre-medicine). He has worked in various healthcare settings (e.g., health insurers, hospitals, vendor relations, etc.), while focusing on physician education, clinical documentation integrity, and fraud detection. Lastly, he holds sixteen (16) industry credentials from associations suchs as American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Americal Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
