Cherie has been an adjunct instructor with St. Petersburg College since 1999 working for the College of Computer & Information Technology, the College of Education and SPC's Corporate Training. "If there are students and computers, I'm there." I enjoy helping students build their confidence and prepare for the ever changing role technology will have in their lives. I particular enjoy teaching the Intro to Educational Technology course. Preparing young educators for the classroom of the future is exciting and challenging. I often teach Basic Computer and Information Literacy classes on Saturdays.

 

Since 1992 Cherie has been the owner/instructor of an on-site computer instruction business, Software Sense, serving local business and residential customers. She's was a Visiting Professor at the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg from 2007 - 2017. Prior to her transition into technology she worked as a teacher, counselor and program manager serving the needs of Florida teens in crisis. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Cherie has enjoyed being a resident of Clearwater since 1986.
