I earned my B.S. degree in Physics at the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 1990. After that, I attended the University of Tennessee, where I earned my Ph.D. in High Energy and Elementary Particle Physics in 1995. My dissertation was on a search for mesons with exotic quantum numbers. I continued my studies in meson spectroscopy as a postdoctoral research associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory. After my post-doc, my career moved to the private sector, where I took a position at AT&T, first as a systems engineer, and then as a test engineer. After taking some time to raise my family, I re-entered the workforce as a consultant and as an adjunct instructor. I am thrilled to be currently teaching Physics at SPC.
