I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg College and a Masters of Public Health from AT Still University in Mesa, AZ. I currently live in Madison WI. So as you might guess I have completed both of my degrees as a distance learning student. I understand the numerous educational and personal dynamics that impact online students. I have found that one of the most beneficial parts of online/distance learning is the ability to have very diverse students coming from a multitude of backgrounds. The diversity of thoughts and backgrounds perpetuates interesting and reflective dialogue. It is my intention through this course to encourage that dialogue and allow for those thoughts to be conveyed in an open and welcoming learning environment. Please know that I want each of my students to be successful and I will always do all I can to assure your academic success...as long as you do your part too!

I am an exercise addict and enjoy the challenge of pushing my mind and body to new levels. I completed my first Ironman in September 2011, and 2 more in 2013 and 2016.. There is no better feeling than the success of crossing the finish line. I am hooked on triathlon and that wonderful feeling of accomplishment!
