I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg College and a Masters of Public Health from AT Still University in Mesa, AZ. I currently live in Crystal Beach, FL. I have completed both of my degrees as a distance learning student. I understand the numerous educational and personal dynamics that impact online students. I have found that one of the most beneficial parts of online/distance learning is the ability to have very diverse students coming from a multitude of backgrounds. The diversity of thoughts and backgrounds perpetuates interesting and reflective dialogue. I intend to encourage that dialogue and allow for those thoughts to be conveyed in an open and welcoming learning environment. Please know that I want each of my students to be successful and I will always do all I can to assure your academic success...as long as you do your part too!

I love to stay active and enjoy the challenge of pushing my mind and body to new levels. I completed my first Ironman in September 2011, and 2 more in 2013 and 2016.. There is no better feeling than the success of crossing the finish line...in school and sports:)
