Dr. Michele Adams
Dr. Adams grew up in St. Petersburg and graduated with a Certificate in Radiologic Technology from Bayfront Medical Center. He then earned an Associate in Arts from St. Petersburg Junior College and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from the University of South Florida. Dr. Adams obtained his master’s degree in pharmacology from Michigan State University and his doctorate in education from USF.
Dr. Adams was on the faculty of Lansing Community College and was the founding Radiography Program Director at SPJC from 1981-1994. He served as Dean of Health Professions at Pasco-Hernando Community College for 18 years. He has published three textbooks with Pearson Publishing: Core Concepts in Pharmacology, Pharmacology for Nurses: A Pathophysiologic Approach and Pharmacology: Connections to Nursing Practice. He teaches Anatomy and Physiology and other biological science courses at SPC.
