Jeff Youmans is a distinguished cybersecurity leader with over 25 years of experience spanning government, military, and private sectors. His career in cybersecurity began in 1997 following two enlistments in the United States Army, where he served as a Special Forces Intelligence Collection Manager. Since then, he has held pivotal cybersecurity roles as a government contractor, government employee, and industry leader across manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and the vacation and leisure sectors.
In addition to his professional expertise, Mr. Youmans has been an educator in cybersecurity at Saint Petersburg College since 2008, contributing to the development of future professionals in the field. He currently serves as the Director and Head of Cybersecurity at Holiday Inn Club Vacations, where he oversees the organization’s security strategy, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Youmans is deeply committed to philanthropy. He serves on the Board of Directors for Xtraordinary Joy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to funding research on X chromosome deletions, and he and his family are proud Ambassadors for the Children’s Miracle Network, engaging with major donors to support pediatric healthcare initiatives.
Academically, Mr. Youmans holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Networking from Strayer University and a Master of Science in Information Assurance from Norwich University. His professional credentials include the Information Assurance Methodologies (NSA-IAM) certification from the National Security Agency, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation from ISC2, and a Professional Development Certificate in Computer Forensics from Oregon State University.
Outside of his professional and philanthropic commitments, Mr. Youmans enjoys camping with his family and pursuing his passion for woodworking.
