Sally Wellman
i began my experience with deaf education with one student in my first preschool class out of college. I began to learn ASL and speech therapy for her. I then decided to get my Master's in deaf education at the University of Pittsburgh. I taught and worked as a coordinator at the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf for 40 years. It was a great career and a wonderful place to work! I wanted to stay involved with the deaf community after I moved to Florida. That led me to tutoring and now, teaching at SPC!
