Dr. Susan Weber

"It is not if children are learning from you, it is what they are learning."
After a few decades of working children and families and attending school I have come full circle. I entered this profession with nothing but a high school diploma working with two-year olds. I was sadden that children called me teacher when I did not believe in my heart that I was a teacher. I viewed teachers as more than what I was, yet I knew I could become early childhood educator. I completed my last stretch of formal education in December 2014, earning my Ph.D in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Psychology. I say that I have come full circle because I began in the classroom, worked as a director, served as an evaluator, guided as a professor, earned my degree, returned to the thick of the profession at a Model Preschool in St. Petersburg and am now working full time at St. Petersburg College.
I am passionate about young children and am exctied to plan and implement curriculum. I hope to guide you through this process and extend your learning to the classroom. Please reach out ot me, if you need anything.
