Sumati Villaman started teaching EFL in the Dominican Republic where she lived for two years. Upon returning to the United States, she worked in business as she continued her formal education until she was credentialed to teach ESL in the States. In the classroom, she empowers students to take control of their own learning and feels privileged to be part of the students' lives during this exciting time in their growth. "After all," she says, "what could be more fun?" With a strong computer background prior to joining SPC, she enjoys including online technology in her classes. She has her B.A. in Business Management and M.A. in Applied Linguistics, both from the University of South Florida.
