Maggie Tymms is the Director of Assessment at St. Petersburg College, and has worked in higher education for over twelve years.  She is a lifelong learner, enjoys teaching, and is dedicated to student success. Maggie earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Theoretical and Applied Ethics, from the University of Central Florida. 

Maggie’s teaching philosophy focuses on student engagement through a variety of methods, including active learning techniques, and student interactions with both the instructor, and other students.
