After receiving my B.A. in English at the University of Texas at Austin, I moved to the United Kingdom, where I completed my M.A. (Southampton) and Ph.D. (Leeds). After nearly ten years in England, I moved to Tampa in 2011 and am currently finishing a book on nineteenth-century literature and culture, The Literary Fourth Dimension.
