Brenda Thompson is an adjunct economics professor at SPC.  She earned a masters in business economics at USF with honors and has worked in healthcare, insurance and education.  She is a grant project coordinator at SPC since 2022, engendering innovative educational programming for secondary and post secondary students. Professor Thompson was also a graduate assistant and faculty member at USF's Center for Urban Transportation Research.
