I began working in the veterinary medical field in 2006, received an A.S. in Veterinary Technology at St Petersburg College in 2008, passed the VTNE and became a certified veterinary technician the same year. I went on to obtain a Bachelors degree in Veterinary Technology with SPC shortly after. I have worked in general practice, emergency, and dentistry and oral surgery over the years, and currently work in a day practice and emergency relief.  I am very passionate about the veterinary technology field and feel privileged to have a small part in helping others who want to pursue this career as well. I am especially interested in working toward the common goal of bringing licensure to our title nationally.
