I began my educational career in 2008 in the college of Business Administration with a major in marketing.  During this period, I interned at Cine Colombia, a film and entertainment company. It was in this position that I realized that the part of the business that most interested me was hospitality and tourism management. 

I received my Master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism in the University of South Florida, and as a graduate Teaching Assistant had the opportunity to teach in the hospitality program.   My teaching experience while pursuing the Master’s degree made me realize that I both love teaching and that I am very good at it. 

My work experience as the owner and operator of a small café taught me a great deal about restaurants in Florida. From managing to cooking, the experience I gained was invaluable.

In my spare time, I love to work out and go to the movies.
