Kevin Stanley, Ph.D. (Academic Dept. Chair: Humanities & Fine Arts and E Campus). I have spent my entire career in higher education.  I started at Baltimore’s flagship community college teaching Philosophy and World Religions and later went to Yavapai College in Arizona to chair the Department of Philosophy and Humanities.  There I also became Director of Liberal Arts Advising and Transfer and Dean of Liberal Arts.  Moving east to Massachusetts, I was the Director (Dean) of Registration Services (Registrar) at two Community Colleges and two four year colleges where I oversaw the implementation of the SIS (student info systems) and the subsequent overhaul of academic policy and catalog college-wide.  I retained professorship throughout and developed several online courses. Now I continue to teach and chair the Dept. of Humanities & Fine Arts, for several SPC Campuses (and E Campus) being credentialed as a Professor of Philosophy, World Religions, and Humanities.
  If you are taking one of my Online or Blended classes, then you are learning in the most exciting method that has changed education in our lifetimes. It allows us to perfect our communication and self-discipline skills like no other. In the 21st century, both subject related knowledge (like Philosophy and Humanities) and tech related knowledge (like you get by taking online courses) is required.
